Student Health

Welcome to the Student Health Department of Yale Health Center! While you are at Yale, we encourage you to take advantage of our clinical care and preventive services, and urge you to take an active role in your health care. We are committed to the health issues that are important to you.
Who can visit Student Health?
Access to Student Health is available to all Yale undergraduate and graduate students who are all automatically eligible for care. Upon your enrollment at Yale University, you automatically have access to Student Health services and are assigned a Primary Care Provider within our department.
What services does Student Health provide?
Through your Primary Care Provider in Student Health, you have access to routine physical examinations, sick visits, and other services.
Travel Health Services for Students are also provided in Student Health.
How can I contact Student Health?
If you think you might need us - call us or send us a message via MyChart for non-urgent clinical concerns! We are here to answer all of your health-related questions and concerns and help direct you to the best place for care or the right place to continue your care.
Call Student Health during operating hours. In the event that Student Health is closed, Acute Care is also available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Messages sent via MyChart will be answered within 48 hours during business days (excluding weekends and holidays). If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or if on campus, the Yale University Police at 203-432-4400.
