Dr. Mario Amleto has practiced the full spectrum of Family Medicine throughout his career, bringing decades of experience and a deep commitment to patient-centered care. He began his career at a local community health center in Connecticut, where he provided care to underserved populations. He then spent over 25 years in a small-town practice, treating a wide range of conditions in patients from newborns to centenarians; an experience he found both humbling and deeply rewarding. Dr. Amleto has strong procedural expertise and a particular interest in in-office surgical procedures, including skin lesion excisions, skin biopsies, ingrown toenail removal, and joint injections. He also has a clinical interest in managing sports-related injuries, reflecting his commitment to helping patients maintain active and healthy lifestyles.
Dr.Amleto comes from a family with Italian roots. He is married and has two grown children. Outside of his clinical work, he enjoys walking, hiking, participating in sports, and gardening, interests that mirror his appreciation for balance, wellness, and time spent outdoors.
