Home Delivery

Have your prescriptions delivered directly to your home through Prime Therapeutics Home Delivery.

Mail-order prescriptions are designed for maintenance medications and are not suitable for acute needs. Please be aware that there is a processing delay associated with mail-order prescriptions. If you require medication urgently, we recommend visiting a local pharmacy (Walgreens, CVS, Rite-Aid, etc.).

Prescription Reimbursement

If you choose to use an outside (Walgreens, CVS, Rite-Aid, etc.) pharmacy, please electronically submit your claim for reimbursement of outside pharmacy expenses. You will need your member ID number and the Yale Health RxBIN#017449. Alternatively, you can mail the paper Pharmacy Claim Form.

If you require medication urgently and cannot visit the Yale Health Pharmacy, or when our pharmacy is closed, we recommend visiting a local pharmacy (Walgreens, CVS, Rite-Aid, etc.).

Specialty medications must be dispensed from an in-network specialty pharmacy, which includes Yale Health or Prime Therapeutics.

Please see the Compounded Medications page for information regarding compounded medications.

Electronic pharmacy claim submissions are currently unavailable. Until this is resolved, please mail your prescription receipts and a printed copy of the claim form directly to Prime Therapeutics.

If you use an outside pharmacy, you can electronically submit your claim for reimbursement of outside pharmacy expenses. You will need your member ID number and the Yale Health RxBIN#017449.
