Schedule Your COVID-19 Vaccine

Yale Health members, please visit our Flu COVID Finder to schedule COVID vaccinations at Yale Health Center.

***The back-ordered Pfizer vaccine has arrived – if your child is 6 months through 4 years old and received only the Pfizer vaccine in the past, please contact Pediatrics directly to schedule your child’s Pfizer vaccine in the Pediatric Department. All other Pediatric patients, ages 6 months through 18 years will receive the Moderna vaccine. Please call the Pediatric Department at 203-432-0206 or send a My Chart message to schedule your child’s COVID vaccine in the Pediatric Department, as no additional pediatric clinics will take place.***

If you are unable to find an appointment in our portal that meets your needs, you may now schedule an appointment with an outside retail pharmacy (e.g., CVS, Walgreens, etc.), and Yale Health will cover the cost.

As with pharmacies across the country, Yale Health experienced delays in receiving our supplies. Because the supplies arrived slower and in fewer quantities than expected, our website’s scheduling portal only provides appointments for the limited supplies we have on hand. We continue to work with our vendors to secure shipments, so we encourage you to frequently check this page for updates.

Also, because of the delay in receiving supplies, we revised our existing policy and are allowing our members to obtain the COVID vaccine at outside retail pharmacies and Yale Health will cover the cost. Note that while the vaccine is available in selected pharmacies, supplies have been unreliable, and some have had difficulty finding appointments or have had appointments canceled. Use of outside pharmacies is limited to COVID-19 vaccination.

It will be necessary to use your Yale Health insurance coverage, therefore you must bring or print out your Yale Health insurance card to present to the pharmacy. They will bill Yale Health directly. To access a copy of your card, click here. Additionally, for patients who purchased a COVID vaccination prior to 10/1, you can submit for reimbursement through the Pharmacy’s direct member reimbursement claim form.

An appointment is required. You can schedule an appointment for a COVID vaccine or booster through the Yale Vaccine Program by clicking the button below if you are a:

  • Yale faculty, staff, or trainee
  • Yale undergraduate, graduate, or professional student
  • Spouse, dependent, or retiree with Yale Health insurance

If you need assistance, please call the Campus COVID Resource Line (CCRL) at 203-432-6604.
