Preferred Provider Directory Search Now Available
Yale Health proudly offers our members a wide and ever-growing array of services at our 55 Lock Street center. Most needed care is available here, including X-rays, Pharmacy, and Acute Care.
However, there may be times when the service you need is unavailable at Yale Health Center. In such cases, approved referrals play a crucial role. They allow our members to access the extensive range of services across the Yale Health system, so that you can receive the specialized care you need.
The Yale Health Preferred Provider Directory is your resource for comprehensive information about where to find services covered by an approved referral from Yale Health. Available on the Yale Health website, this frequently updated directory lists every network location, vendor, and provider where your visits, procedures, and medical equipment are covered with an approved referral. You can search by need, location, or even provider name, making it easier than ever to find the right care.
For more details on referrals and benefit updates, please visit the Coverage section of our website. Additionally, don’t forget to reference our Summer 2024 newsletter, “Understanding Your Yale Health Coverage and Accessing Care,” for more information on recent updates to the referral process.
Stay informed and take full advantage of the comprehensive care available within the Yale Health system!
It’s Not Too Late For Flu/COVID Vaccines
Yale Health supports all members in staying protected against influenza (flu) and COVID-19. Everyone aged 6 months and older should get the flu shot. It’s safe, effective, and especially vital during the fall to ensure optimal protection through the winter. According to the CDC, even those with egg allergies can receive any flu vaccine safely.
Walk-ins Now Welcome
Since October 21, Yale Health Center has been accepting walk-ins for adult COVID and flu vaccines at the Moreson Kaplan Conference Center. Our check-in staff will inform you about estimated wait times and offer you a QR code to schedule an appointment if there is a lengthy wait.
Easy Scheduling
Booking your flu and COVID vaccines is simple and free! Use our Flu and COVID Vaccine Scheduler to choose a convenient appointment. If you need help scheduling, call us at 203-432-8797. For families, children can receive their flu shot during a regularly scheduled visit or at our Family Flu clinics, where adults can also get vaccinated (select the Adult/Pediatric Saturday Family Flu clinic when scheduling).
Don't wait — ensure you and your loved ones are protected this fall.
We’ve Heard You — Your Voice Shapes Yale Health!
Our Patient Experience Survey is getting a major trim! We know the current version feels like a burden, so we’re cutting questions to save you time while still gaining important information. Now, you can share your feedback in a flash and get back to your normal day.
If a question doesn’t apply, skip it — no “N/A” is needed! Every answer helps us keep making Yale Health a place where you feel supported and valued.
