Flu and COVID Vaccine Program 2025-2026

Prevention is key to controlling flu, COVID, and other respiratory infections.

Yale Health continues to offer flu and COVID vaccines at no cost to eligible members of the Yale community. Vaccinations are now available by appointment or on a walk-in basis at the Immunization Department (2nd floor, 55 Lock Street).

Who can get vaccinated?

  • Yale Health members (including Medicare members)
  • Yale faculty, employees, and students

Important Notes

  • For those Yale employees without Yale Health coverage, vaccines are available at local pharmacies or through your healthcare provider.

How to schedule

  • Self-schedule through MyChart
  • Call Immunization: 203-432-0038
  • Walk-in during Immunization Department hours
  • Pediatric patients: Call Pediatrics at 203-432-0206

Flu Shots

  • Free flu vaccine for Yale Health members is only available through Yale Health clinics.
  • Recommended for everyone over 6 months.
  • Types available:
    • Regular Dose (ages 6 months–64)
    • High-Dose (65+)

COVID Vaccines

  • Pfizer mRNA vaccine available for adults.
  • Yale Health members (18+) and Medicare members may also receive COVID vaccines at outside pharmacies using their Yale Health ID card.
