(She/ Her)

Education

BS: Human Biology and Society, Minor in Public Health. University of California, Los Angeles (2017)
MSN: Family Nurse Practitioner, Yale School of Nursing (2022)

Clara is a Family Nurse Practitioner and primary care provider for adult patients at Yale Health. She began her career as a nurse in Yale Health’s Specialty Services Department while completing her advanced training at the Yale School of Nursing. After graduating, Clara worked full-time as a primary care clinician at Cornell Scott-Hill Health Center before returning to Yale Health in her current role.

Clara’s clinical interests include community health, women’s health, addiction medicine, thyroid disorders, and chronic disease management. She values partnering with patients to understand their goals and challenges and to provide care that supports their overall health and well-being. Clara believes primary care offers meaningful opportunities to prevent illness, manage chronic conditions, and promote healthy lifestyles.

Originally from just outside Berkeley, California, Clara moved to the East Coast after college to pursue public health and medicine, though she’s still adjusting to winter weather. Outside of work, she enjoys weight lifting, hiking, yoga, running, and keeping up with her high-energy dog. Clara has recently returned to sewing, a hobby she started in high school, and she loves attending concerts and playfully competing in her husband’s fantasy football league—where she’s placed second twice, despite still figuring out how it all works.
