Education: Katharine received her undergraduate degree from Bates College before pursuing advanced training at Yale School of Nursing, where she earned her Master of Science in Nursing degree. Katharine completed a nurse practitioner residency at West Haven VA Medical Center.
Professional Experience: Katharine gained valuable experience as a primary care clinician at the VA Connecticut Community-Based Outpatient Clinic in New London. This experience equipped her with a deep understanding of veterans' healthcare needs. Her interest in young adult health and chronic disease prevention led her to work at the University of New Haven, where she provided primary care to students before joining Yale Student Health.
FYI: Katharine is originally from New York and is excited to return to the Yale community. She is passionate about teaching young adults about their health and well-being, aiming to help them learn how to care for themselves and manage their health as they age.
