Obstetrics and Gynecology
Contact and HoursPhone:
Monday-Friday 8:30 am-5:00 pm
Due to COVID-19 your well-woman visit will be initiated with telemedicine (either a telephone or video visit). During the telemedicine visit you and your provider will decide if an in-person visit is needed.
You will receive a pre-screening call or MyChart message that will include instructions for entering the building.
As always we encourage you to arrive on time for your appointment.
If your visit includes a sensitive exam, treatment, or procedure, a medical chaperone will be required during that portion of the visit.
We provide preventive care, evaluate and treat women’s health issues, and provide care during pregnancy and birth.
When you have an unexpected illness or urgent medical concern, call us and ask to speak with our nurse coordinators or your provider. We have appointments set aside to accommodate urgent concerns. We use a team approach, so there is always a provider available to care for you if your primary care provider (PCP) is not available.
For non-urgent concerns (preventive care, test results, requesting appointments, questions about birth control, STI screening, etc.) you can send us a MyChart message or call us.
After-hours and weekends, the triage nurses in Acute Care (203-432-0123) are always available by phone for urgent issues and will help determine if you need to come in for an evaluation.
Prescription refill and renewal requests should be directed to the pharmacy.
