Taneisha Grant, MD

Dr. Grant treats a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions, including gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), eosinophilic esophagitis, peptic ulcer disease, celiac disease, and disorders related to motility and bowel function such as achalasia, gastroparesis, irritable bowel syndrome, and small intestinal bacterial overgrowth. She performs procedures including upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, Bravo pH capsule placement, esophageal dilation, and therapeutic Botox injections. She is drawn to gastroenterology by the wide range of disease processes affecting the digestive system and values the opportunity to carefully listen to patients in order to fully understand their symptoms and recommend the most appropriate evaluation and treatment.

Dr. Grant is from Portland, Jamaica, and enjoys building meaningful connections with patients by learning about their lives outside of school and work. Outside of medicine, she enjoys reading fiction, gardening, cooking, and live music. She also enjoys traveling and has a renewed interest in outdoor biking. She is a strong advocate for health equity and has worked with community and medical organizations to reduce disparities in healthcare and improve patient outcomes.
