Dr. Tamires Tiburtino recently joined Yale Health in the fall of 2023 as a postdoctoral associate after completing her predoctoral internship at the University of Pittsburgh’s University Counseling Center. She received her doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of Hartford and worked at both the Trinity College and Wesleyan University counseling centers.
Dr. Tiburtino has focused her educational experiences on treating college students. Her clinical interests include relationship issues, attachment exploration, and trauma-focused body centered therapy. She integrates psychodynamic psychotherapy with mindfulness and positive psychology techniques.
