Taiwo Alonge, MD (He/Him)

Dr. Taiwo Alonge joined Yale Health in 2023 as a psychiatry resident physician. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Florida and his Doctor of Medicine as well as his Master of Public Health from Columbia University.

Dr. Alonge’s clinical interests include but are not limited to psychodynamic psychotherapy, trauma, men’s mental health, and the mental health of minoritized populations such as Black people, other people of color, and LGBTQ+ identifying people. In addition to the above, Dr. Alonge prescribes medications when indicated following a careful and collaborative evaluation with his clients. Dr. Alonge values community, relationships, and collectivity which inform his approach to care and efforts to not only work with the person he is seeing but also helping that person be able to thrive within their lives and relationships.
