Dr. Shirin Shokooh joined Yale Health in 2022. She received her medical education and psychiatry training from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine. She completed a fellowship in Hispanic Psychiatry at Yale School of Medicine, where she worked with seriously mentally ill Spanish speaking patients.
Dr. Shokooh specializes in medication management while integrating behavioral therapy skills as needed to provide comprehensive care. Her clinical interests include mood disorders, anxiety disorders, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorders, personality disorders, and complex post-traumatic stress disorders.
