Dr. Murad Khan started at Yale Mental Health and Counseling as a psychiatry resident in 2021 and has been a Staff Psychiatrist since 2023. They received their B.A. in Psychology from Yale University, M.D. from Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, and completed their psychiatry residency at Yale School of Medicine.

Dr. Khan works collaboratively with students towards individualized treatment goals drawing on interdisciplinary, intersectional, and reflexive approaches to both psychotherapy and pharmacotherapy. While trained in the medical model, they work at remaining conversant with critical psychiatry, abolitionism, and queer of color critique.
