Dr. Erica Robinson initially joined Yale Health in 2018. She became the Director of Residency Training at Mental Health and Counseling in 2022. She received her medical degree from the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra University before coming to Yale to complete her Adult Psychiatry residency. After residency she went on to complete a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Brown University.
Dr. Robinson has always been devoted to working with women of color, adolescents, and young adults as they navigate the many transitions associated with these stages of life. Her clinical interests include anxiety and mood disorders, maternal mental health, personality disorders, and eating disorders. Dr. Robinson believes in a collaborative approach to care that is compassionate and patient focused.
