Dr. Elizabeth Mensah joined Yale Health as a third-year psychiatry resident in 2024. She is a graduate of the Huntsman Program in International Studies and Business at the University of Pennsylvania through which she earned a B.Sc. in Economics with a concentration in HealthCare Management and Policy from the Wharton School and a B.A. in International Studies with a minor in Hispanic Studies. She completed her MD at Emory University School of Medicine.
Dr. Mensah's clinical interests include but certainly are not limited to psychodynamic psychotherapy, intergenerational trauma, immigrant family dynamics, and the role of faith/spirituality in mental health.
