Dr. Christopher Oleskey joined Yale Health in 2020 as a Staff Psychiatrist within Mental Health and Counseling (MHC). He went to medical school at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine where he obtained an M.D. and an M.P.H. in community and preventive medicine. Dr. Oleskey did a fellowship in bioethics at the Hastings Center and at Oxford University’s ETHOX Center. He did his adult psychiatry residency at Yale followed by a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at the Yale Child Study Center. Prior to joining MHC, Dr. Oleskey was Medical Director of Yale-New Haven Hospital’s Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program. Prior to that, he was an attending inpatient psychiatrist at Yale Psychiatric Hospital. Dr. Oleskey has published in the fields of medical education, preventive psychiatry, and bioethics.
Dr. Oleskey’ s clinical interests include treating depression, anxiety, ADHD, OCD, bipolar disorder, psychotic disorders, and autism-spectrum disorders.
