Dr. Stephanie Ng started at Yale Health in 2016 as a psychiatry resident and joined as a Staff Psychiatrist in 2021. She received her medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine and came to Yale, where she completed her residency in general psychiatry. She then completed fellowships in child & adolescent psychiatry at the Yale Child Study Center and in informatics. She is a graduate of Studies in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, a 2-year certificate course at the Western New England Psychoanalytic Society.
Dr. Ng enjoys working with young adults and the student population. She integrates a psychodynamic understanding with a collaborative approach to diagnosing and treating mental health disorders. She is also interested in the intersection of spirituality and faith with mental health.
