Dr. Mary Tomayko is a dermatologist specializing in autoimmune and immune-mediated skin diseases, including pemphigus, pemphigoid, vitiligo, alopecia areata, and psoriasis. As director of the Yale Immunobullous Clinic, she offers advanced treatments such as immunomodulators, biologics, phototherapy, and skin cancer excisions for patients with complex dermatologic conditions.
 
An associate professor of dermatology and pathology at Yale School of Medicine, Dr. Tomayko leads research on immune system dysregulation in diseases like bullous pemphigoid and investigates how durable immunity to infections and vaccines is established. Her work aims to uncover new therapeutic targets for autoimmune skin disorders.
 
In addition to her clinical and research roles, Dr. Tomayko serves as director of dermatology education at Yale, mentoring students and training future dermatologists.
