Breastfeeding Essentials - A Prenatal Class
This class is designed for expecting parents who want to prepare for breastfeeding. Topics covered include the benefits of breastfeeding, how to establish a good latch, and what to expect in the early days postpartum. It’s a great way to build confidence and get answers to any questions you might have before your baby arrives.
Location & Times:
This class meets on the fourth Monday of the month from 5 pm - 6:30 pm at the Moreson Kaplan Conference Center (55 Lock Street) unless otherwise noted.
Bulldog Babies
Bulldog Babies is a welcoming, supportive group for Yale parents navigating the first year of parenthood. Combining breastfeeding support and new parent connection into one comprehensive program, this group offers a space to ask questions, share experiences, and build community.
Whether you’re looking for lactation guidance, navigating sleep and feeding routines, managing developmental milestones, or simply hoping to connect with other parents, Bulldog Babies provides encouragement, practical advice, and peer support in a relaxed, inclusive setting. Pediatric staff, including lactation support, are available at each session.

This support group meets on the first and third Tuesdays of each month from 11 am – 12 pm at the Moreson Kaplan Conference Center (55 Lock Street) unless otherwise noted. No registration is needed to attend—this group is walk-in only.
Childbirth Education Program
Yale New Haven Health maternity experts support you through pregnancy and beyond with educational resources, childbirth and infant care classes, breastfeeding and more. Classes are offered online and in-person.

Dancing Through Pregnancy® - Total Pregnancy Fitness
Total Pregnancy Fitness classes meet regularly with low fees for Yale Health members and discounts for students.

Diabetes Education Series
Yale Health clinical staff members will present these four sessions to Yale Health members with type 2 diabetes:”
- “What is diabetes?” and self-monitoring
- Healthy eating and activity
- Medications
- Complications, sick day management, and healthy coping

Prediabetes Group Education
This group class is offered monthly for our patients with prediabetes. After attending the group class you will have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with the instructor for personal support.
You will learn:
- What prediabetes is;
- About risk factors;
- And simple lifestyle changes to reduce your risk of developing diabetes.
