Marc Bingham, MD, FAAFP is a board-certified family physician and clinical informaticist dedicated to providing thoughtful, patient-centered care. In addition to seeing patients, he serves as Chief Medical Information Officer at Yale Health, where he works with clinical and technology teams to ensure technology and clinical systems support both patients and clinicians.
Dr. Bingham chose family medicine because he values caring for the whole person, building relationships with patients and families through every stage of life. He believes great care starts with listening, understanding each patient's concerns, and creating a shared plan through clear communication and collaboration.
After transitioning from South Carolina in 2025, Dr. Bingham and his wife now call the New Haven area home. Outside of medicine, he enjoys skiing, cycling, hiking, and traveling to visit his four adult children. He is also passionate about medical education and mentoring healthcare professionals through his work teaching in Yale's clinical informatics curriculum.
