As an insight-oriented therapist, Dr. DePetris seeks to understand how your formative life experiences have shaped how you see yourself and your experience of relationships. Rather than a path of predetermination, she view’s your experiences as a source of wisdom and strength. Her intention is to help students gain clarity, express themselves with greater authenticity, and align their actions accordingly. Dr. DePetris is especially attuned to the multidimensionality of individuals and their layers of identity — including the identities that are socially-imposed and those that are self-affirmed. She approaches therapy from a lens of multiculturalism and holistic health.
