Diagnostic Imaging

Using our state-of-the-art equipment, we offer a wide array of diagnostic imaging and radiology services.

Services include:

  • Computed Tomography (CT scan), with and without contrast
  • MRI’s, with and without contrast
  • Plain film radiography (x-rays)
  • Ultrasound exams
  • Fluoroscopy
  • Hysterosalpingography (HSG)

You must have a referral from your clinician before you make an appointment or come in. All exams are by appointment, call 203-432-0340 to schedule. We will inform you of any pre-test preparation when you schedule your appointment.

Please note: You cannot bring your young children with you to your exam. Children are not allowed in the examination rooms and may not be left in the waiting room unattended.

The Diagnostic Imaging Department at Yale Health offers many different services, which require different equipment. Another person in the waiting room may be having an ultrasound, MRI, or CT scan and is waiting in a different queue. A patient who qualifies as an “emergency” will be taken in before other non-urgent examinations.
